Our last day in California we just relaxed a bit. We were getting ready to head out the next day and we were exhausted!! My kids and KC made me mother's day signs and cards (KC also got me flowers later) because Mother's day was going to be the next day.
Note: I used my cell phone for a camera so the pics are really hit and miss!
We went to Trader Joe's since they don't have one in UT. It's a fun grocery store but really hard to manuver a large family in. Everyone kept saying how cute our family was. I wonder if that was just a nice way of saying holy cow your family is huge!
They are opening a Five Guys in CA! Really? For a moment I thought we were in UT!
We spent another day at the "Backyard Beach". We were going to go to another beach with my family but my dad fell off his bike on a busy street and broke his collar bone! A really nice man took him to a hospital and took great care of him. He is still in a lot of pain but was lucky he didn't get hit by a car and got such wonderful help.
It was a bit overcast this day but still pretty nice.

The next day we drove a long 700 mile drive home. It was exhausting and we hit a lot of rain at night. It was hard to see and scary. I was so glad we all made it home safe!
