A Few Fall things...

Have you ever read this book? It is our family favorite. My Aunt gave it to us along with a tape. You have to read it with the tape to truly appreciate the book. Well we wore the tape right out so I try to attempt singing it to the kids but let's just say I need to buy it again. If you google search Big Pumpkin Scholastic you can find it. Every household should have one.

This weekend we went looking for our own big pumpkins. Preston's teacher invited the whole class on a hayride to a pumpkin patch. She is such an awesome teacher!!! Too bad we are (hopefully!!) moving in a week and a half and who knows where we are going to be! At this rate dropping right off the planet sounds pretty awesome!!!

Dad helping Kate find a Kater-Bug sized pumpkin.

Carter found the biggest one in his mind and pulled that pumpkin right off the vine.

After much careful consideration of almost every pumpkin on the South side of the patch Preston finally found the pumpkin worthy of his presence.

Oh yeah!!! Sweet victory!!!

We took the kids to Noodles & Co. afterwards for lunch where they shared a huge serving of Mac n Cheese (For the adults: Think Pad Thai noodles. MMmmmmm). They were being so goofy but in a cute way, not in a way that drives me crazy and makes me wonder why we ever go out in public.

Maybe I should have had them do hear no evil, speak no evil, see no evil!!! I mean we better do that before we have one more and it throws off that groove!!

And that is all!!!

How long will KC's commute be if you guys do end up "dropping right off the planet"?
That will make game night difficult... so please don't!
